The DermaGlow is a safe and effective procedure that can be customized to meet the needs of nearly all skin types. This unique 3-step, state-of-the art therapeutic skincare treatment removes a micro-thin layer of skin to exfoliate and slough off dry, damaged cells.

The process starts with dermaplaning or  mechanical exfoliation of the skin. This frees the skin of dull, dead cells. The second step is the application of an alpha hydroxy acid (glycolic or lactic) enzymatic solution to help free pores of impacted debris. Manual extractions of blackheads and milia may also be done during this step.

The third step involves freezing the skin using cryotherapy technology. During this process, super cooled carbon dioxide is formed into a ball and wrapped in a specialized cloth, which is then applied to the face in a light circular motion that immediately relieves inflammation and cools the skin. Pores appear smaller and the skin surface becomes smooth.

This peel is ideal for creating the “red carpet glam glow” with no downtime for most patients. Nevertheless, we always recommend having your first DermaGlow when you don’t have a big event coming up to make sure you are not sensitive to the procedure.

Dermaplaning is a procedure in which a thin blade skims off your outer layers of skin to improve your skin texture and tone.
