Restylane – L

Restylane is one of the original dermal filler products. It earned it’s name “Restylane-L” when lidocaine was added to it create a product that would decrease discomfort upon injection. Restylane-L is a hyaluronic acid filler that is used to fill in moderate to severe facial folds, especially in the midface including the cheeks and nasolabial folds, also known as the “smile lines”. Since the launch of Restylane-L there have been many other fillers from the Restylane family of fillers not only with lidocaine added but with newer technology.
